The Thing is our flagship at Sorby Adams where Simon Sorby Adams’ mastery of winemaking, oak and region truly shines. Sourced from low yielding hand pruned Barossa Shiraz vineyards dating back to the 1930s, these ‘survivor’ vines have incredible quality and structure. Its blend of 80% Eden Valley and 20% Barossa Valley fruit seamlessly combines to create a wine with elegance and power, and impeccable ageing potential. Spending 40 months in four year, air dried fine grain French oak provides sophisticated structure and tannins, whilst retaining fruit complexity and richness. A Barossa Super 100 Classification II wine.
