The blend is 55% Grenache, 23% Shiraz and 22% Mataro. The colour is mid red, with lifted bright fruits of raspberry and plenty of floral notes including lavender and rose petal.
The medium bodied palate has a voluptuous palate with up front flavours of raspberry and wild strawberries. These are further accented with hints of toasty oak, cinnamon/nutmeg, pepper, and hazelnut with flinty matchstick notes. The mid palate is rich and full, with lovely richness and soft velvety tannins. The wine finishes fine and long with berry fruit and savoury notes. Drink now or over the next five years.
