The Islay barley story began with a single farmer in 2004. Since then, Bruichladdich's local barley initiative has developed into a rhythm, with an average of 18 farms supplying annually. Every harvest, the farming community gains more knowledge of what it takes to grow in Islay's challenging conditions. Like previous releases, the 2013 weighs in at 50% ABV and comes non chill filtered.
