This 2017 Durif from Atze's Corner is a lovely ode to the Irish settler David Shannon. He was said to be 201cm in height but a gentle and warm hearted 'Giant'. Made at one if the planet's most distinguished wine regions, Barossa Valley. The site for this Durif was chosen based on the shallow top soils & deep red clays. You'll find this Durif to be full bodied with dark ripe fruit and firm tannins. Decant or cellar until 2030.
