One of Cody Road's seasonal whiskey projects was this delicious offering called "Queen Bee Honey Whiskey" which they released every spring. It became so popular that in 2018 they made it all year-round and changed the name to Cody Road Honey. But it is the same delicious whiskey in the bottle.
The special recipe infuses Cody Road Bourbon with real clover honey harvested from the hive just 30 miles from the distillery in Jackson County, Iowa. The traditional Cody Road Bourbon provides for an even better taste than the corn whiskey used to make the "Queen Bee Honey Whiskey" in past years. Combined with natural clover honey, thet get a perfect kiss of sweetness. Cody Road use nearly 60 gallons of honey to make each batch of this spirit.
