Bottled at a (relatively) light 48.5% ABV, its easy-drinking style has wowed whisky show attendees, with aromas of honey crepes, vanilla and citrus drops. The taste is all things scrumpdiddlyumptious - lemon sherbet, apple pie with custard, vanilla nougat, baked cheesecake, barley sugar, toffee, cinnamon, strawberries and cream, mandarines and Jaffas. A luscious sweet lingering finish.
Part of the secret of this release is not only the exception 200L ex-Bourbon cask from which it came, but also the “dollop” of sherry cask whisky we added to provide extra creamy richness.
