A single malt release designed for the Craft Works distillery's Cellar Door in Capertee, which is now being released to retailers.
The second release is vatted from an un-charred Chardonnay cask, an ex-bourbon cask and dash of ex-botrytis wine cask.
The distillery say, "there is no current cellar door open, so we have decided to release this as a general release. For us, single casks are interesting however as our skills develop, we are now really enjoying the opportunities that vatting casks provides, giving us a broader flavour palette to create whisky works of art."
The spirit was distilled at an undisclosed distillery as part of the independent bottling arm.
