The Real Review Nick Butler 96 pts
Margaret River is rightfully celebrated for its capacity to produce aristocratic cabernet dominant wines, and this wine could easily be put forward as the classic expression from the region.
Purple colour with lighter purple edges vibrant. Classic aromatics of Ribena, cedary, dusty oak, licorice and a subtle, herbal leafiness just lovely. it's ripe and balanced. The palate shows ripeness and poise. Blueberries and blackcurrants; tannins in check and acidity under writing freshness. This is a sensational wine and exceptional price.
