The vines are grown in sandy loam soils over broken quartz, in Darry Honey’s Skilly Valley vineyard, in a sub-region of Watervale.
Running north to south on the valley floor, the vines are protected from the extremes of the summer sun by the valley sides.
The grapes from these vines produce Riesling with aromas of apple blossom and a naturally crisp acidic background.
The palate is citrus with peach and tropical notes.
This is their latest release Skilly Valley Riesling.
